Maybe Disclosure? I liked Rising Sun, too, but at this point it's a bit dated.

I thought his later stuff (Airframe and whatever that anti-global warming screed was) was a bit too preachy/ideological, but his early works were a wonderful combination of science and action. Jurassic Park was my first introduction to chaos theory.

I read Crichton books along with what seemed to be everyone else during my honeymoon in 1993.
