Mary Travers has passed away.

She had a great voice, a perfect folk instrument, and will be missed.

I remember seeing PP&M perform at A&M in the mid '60s.

Mary was one of the only females in attendance and singing anti-war anthems to mostly Corps members in uniform.

They sounded great and were very well-received.

Without PP&M's excellent, earlier harmonies fiiling the air and paving the way, CS&N's later work might have fallen on deaf ears.

RIP.
