Yeah, it was actually a whole series of books. I read quite a few of them back in the day. The Fletch character in the books wasn't as off-the-wall as the Chevy Chase character, but they were definitely a good read.

RIP..I actually had the Fletch novel that was printed for poor eye-sighted people....very large print...good coffee table book..
