Amazing that he was able to keep the health issues from being public for so long...in this day and age where privacy is such a forgotten concept, it seems like someone is always leaking private information about celebrities.

His career was certainly aided by his ability to keep reinventing himself...local station played lots of Bowie on Friday in honor of his birthday and has already been doing large blocks of his work today because of his passing...

Definitely a unique talent that could keep changing his personna, to remain successful.

He could go from the outragious, to singing a Christmas song with Bing Crosby, both with ease and talented precision.
