Passed away yesterday in Taylor.

Louie Mueller's BBQ will never be the same.

Man, sorry to hear that. How did he pass, do you know? I was there a couple of weeks ago and he was Q'ing up a storm.

Passed away in his sleep according to the email my wife got.

The Taylor Duck Class of '63 was supposed to have their reunion at his place next month.

Sad to hear about this, but I have faith he put the operation on autopilot many years ago.

Yes, the Mrs. & Bobby's wife were classmates. Bobby was a few years older.

Bobby Mueller Passing

Not sure if the restaurant was on autopilot just yet as his passing was pretty sudden. Big loss for us Taylorites for sure. I'm not the biggest Taylor fan but if there's one thing I'm extremely happy to have here in Taylor, it's Mueller's.

Here's hoping that the family will pick up the pieces and make this man proud.

I was doing a roof sorta near Red Bud & 79 (just E of the DeLL Diamond) & figured it was worth the hop up the road to Louie's; they were closed for the memorial service.

I ended up @ Vencil's instead (thanx to Jack Straw for that reminder, as I as already 1/2 mile back towards Hutto & had called him to commiserate in my Q misery).
