I grew up with his "People are Funny" show and really got a kick out ot his "Kids Say the Darndest Things".

Married to his wife for 75 years this year. That is pretty amazing in itself.

I remember on Kids Say the Darndest Things, he had this little boy who said that when he grew up, he wanted to be a bachelor like his daddy.

Turned out his dad worked for the IRS.

I remember seeing him interviewed several years ago. He said at the time he now knew the year he wanted to die. It would be the year when the gradual reduction in inheritance taxes brought on by the Bush tax cuts had reached their low point. Since the cuts are due to expire next year, I think he made it.
