Ricky negotiated his own contract

I would have asked them to forgive the 8.6 million.
All they can do is say no.
But I'm glad he's happy and ready to play.
Now open some holes for the guy.
He and Ronnie both had 46 yards against the Jets.
They have talent on the O-line but they are young and now a starter is out for the year.
 
I believe his former contract had him at ~800k-900k a year, and the new one with play-time incentives takes him to a little over 1million a year. There's no way he has 8 more years left...
 
thing i read said they could start garnishing his wages but they probably wouldn't take they direction. i'm glad he's happy and i hope he's able to be productive.

the dolphins haven't tried to collect. don't think they will as long as he stays there. said he'll make 2.2 million this year with roster bonuses and 3.3 million next year. as long as he does the dolphins right, i don't think they ever try to collect.
 
I agree. I think part of the reason he likes the coaches and management so much is for that reason.
