I think he's getting a raw deal. It didn't look like he was trying to knock her down to me. She was moving toward the scuffle and he put his hands up to stop her and started moving forward to move her back. Looks like he caught her off balance and she went tumbling as a result.
There's a big scuffle and a lot of people are grabbing players and teammates trying to hold them back and several people get knocked over, and someone the whole thing gets reduced to "A man pushed a woman"
If she doesn't have broken bones, it's proof positive he was not trying to hurt her. If someone with his size and strength hit with intent to harm, most heavyweight boxers go down.
I realize this may be offensive and is kinda F'ed up, but there is a part of me that thinks it would have been hillarious (in a Chappele how skit kind of way) if Mahorn just went out there swingng and seeing how many LA Sparks players he could lay down.
