He just keeps the signing bonus. He won't get paid for any of the years on the contract (I believe)

He will get to keep the signing bonus, but there are no guaranteed contracts in the NFL, so no, he doesn't get the 3 years of salary. If this were MLB, he would.

Oh well. He made a few G's, kicked a few balls in preseason, but I'm sure he has other other options. No college kicker plays hoping he will get a NFL contract.
