Rice TV

There is a place on NE corner of Katy & Hwy 6. It's a Christian's Tailgate. Hardly anyone goes there. Food isn't worth a damn. Call them tomorrow and ask if they will have the game (DirecTV). They never pressure you to buy anything. Lots of TVs.

Tks Sabre

My son said State Fair Bar in Westin Hotel complex (Gessner & Katy) has DirecTV, but a lousy system and can only show 3 games at one time. You might call and ask if they will have the game on. There's not a lot of competition for the night game, just Auburn/State Penn, better known as "come audition for the USC HC's job"

This Week's Game Watch
Texas vs. Rice
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 | 6:30-11:00pm (7pm kickoff)
Little Woodrow’s Katy
22225 Katy Freeway, Katy, Texas, 77450
(eastbound access road between 99 and Mason Road)

This event is open to all Texas fans, so feel free to forward this note to your friends and family! Little Woodrow’s is generally adults only, but they are welcoming Longhorns of all ages during the game.

Walk-ups are always welcome, but an accurate estimate of expected attendees and party sizes helps Little Woodrow's better prepare for us:
Please RSVP here by 11AM Friday 9/17

Please note: Given the uptick in Covid-19 cases in the area, the safety protocols provided below will be in effect for this event.

See you there and don’t forget to wear your favorite Burnt Orange! Hook 'em!

I need to have a pool party for the Hornsfans west-siders. I’m in Katy Green Trails area but used to live near Briar Forest @ Dairy Ashford. No reason some of us who don’t want to go to the bar can’t watch the game.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering...Sling used to allow new trials with different email addys. I...er someone I know...got through half a season with RedZone that way.

Side note, I also have discovered that, although it does not seem to permit signing up for a la carte channels by themselves, you can apparently KEEP just an a la carte after ditching the pricier stuff. I was playing around with the account manager after VSIN left SiriusXM in favor of other distribution avenues. I can get VSIN on Sling for $4/mo and stream in the office...
