WARNING: Austin Statesman continues to publish game time as 6pm likely causing thousands to arrive early and bake. Oh well, DKR-Memorial concessions will benefit.

I was working in Chicago this past weekend, went for a run Saturday morning and it was 68° ... felt like football weather. Glorious.

Nah BYU should be early. Maybe they'll melt by the start of the 4th quarter if not before. Early in the season, the heat is our friend...just bring sun-block and slug down lot of H2O...

So what time is the team in the shade with a 7:00 start. I ask this knowing where I'll be sitting in the lower west. I've only been sitting there for one season, and I didn't take notes last September.

The team should be in the shade for the entire game. I think the team area starts getting shade around 4:00 and the entire west side (upper and lower) by 5:00.

East lower always gets shade by around 6:30. If you're unlucky enough to sit at the end of the stadium, you get the "benefit" of watching the sun set.
