Ribs from Smoker (home) to tailgate

My wife is going to smoke some pork ribs Friday night, trying to figure out the best way to finish them up at our tailgate Saturday morning. We have an Old Smokey charcoal grill that we use for tailgating. Any advice?

If you reheat them over the grill, just make sure to seal them in foil before placing on the heat. This will help keep them as moist as possible, and works quite well.

There's a spin and an alternative. Try wrapping them in a sleeping bag (after the foil wrapping) and then stuffing into an extra ice chest and they should be great. Ribs don't have to be piping hot according to my personal taste.

Another alternative is to seal the ribs in ziplocs or whatever and throw them in an ice chest with warm water. (you can even cook them sans smoke this way - google sous vide)

Finally, a tip for ribs. Cut straight down on every other bone, leaving essentially a double meat rib. you get one bone with no meat and two with double meat Lot fewer dead soldiers to put in the trash at a tailgate. Plus, you don't feel like the pile of rib bones in front of you makes you look like the pig you are enjoying.

you can get a NEW one at Academy for about ten bucks.

I read somewhere that the sleeping bag deal is used extensively by people who bbq competitively. ?
