In scoring, the Big 12 returns 5 of the top 10 scorers, including the top four, led by OSU’s Andrea Riley at 23.0 ppg. Brittainey led the Horns at 13.4 ppg, tied for 11th in the league.

Four of the top 10 rebounders return, led by Tech’s Kierra Mallard, who ranked fifth at 7.9 rpg.
Kat topped the Horns with 6.6 rpg, 15th in the league.

Six of the top assist leaders come back, led by OSU’s Riley who ended up second in the league with an average of 6.03 apg. Ashleigh’s 1.76 apg were second on Horns behind Carla’s 4.45 apg.

Eight of the top 10 ballhawks return. RaeShara Brown of Missouri led the league with 2.63 spg.
Ashleigh’s 41 steals (1.24 spg) ranked to Carla’s 42 steals.

The top four shot blockers in the league are gone. Four of the next six return, led by Catheryn Redmon’s 2.16 bpg which ranked 5th in the league last season. Ashley Gayle’s 1.88 bpg was second last season to Ashley Lindsey’s 2.18 bpg. Lindsey ranked 4th while Gayle was 6th.

In shooting percentage, the top six FG% shooters are gone. But the next four (7 through 10) return. KSU’s Ashley Sweat is the top shooter coming back at 47.6 % . Earnie at 47.4% is the top FG % shooter returning for the Horns of those that took at least 100 shots during the season.

Players had to hit 78.4% of FTs to be in the top ten. That should only get better as 9 of the top 10 FT shooters, percentage-wise, return, led by OU’s Danielle Robinson at 90.2%. Kat was 3rd in the league at 85.3%. Erika actually had a better percentage at 88.9% but Kat hit 93 of 103 to Erika’s 14-16.

The Big 12 returns 9 of the top 10 3pt shooters by percentage, including the top six. Danielle McCray of Kansas hit 42.6% of her 3s. Kat ranked sixth at 36.2%. Two other Horns had better percentages but no one took more 3s or made more than Kat.
