A good friend will soon vacation in the Pacific Rim / China.
I am aware, in general, that overseas ATMs have been hacked (more that here in the states), and I'm aware, in general, of our existing laws re: Retail banking & electronic theft that are in pace.
Point being: If your account gets cleaned out, at a U.S.- based banking facility (an ATM on the street in China), do our laws apply? I would think so, but don't know for sure.
