Restuarants near Blanco, Johnson City?

A group of friends and I (and our wives) will be making a weekend getaway to Horseshoe Bay in July, and as part of our trip we are planning to visit the Real Ale brewery in Blanco on a Friday afternoon. We're looking for a place in Blanco or Johnson City) or someone else on US 281 between Blanco and Horseshoe Bay) to have dinner on Friday evening. Any "can't miss" places we should check out?

If you're going north of Johnson City, The Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls is an artery clogging delight

Uptown Blanco, on the town square, right across from the courthouse qualifies as can't miss. I was shocked to find a restaurant of that caliber in little Blanco, Texas.
