Any recommendations for food in downtown Salt Lake City? Particularly Mexican food? I've been to the Blue Iguana and Red Rock Brewery but looking to branch out...

Outside of Blue Iguana, I would not touch the Mexican food. If you are into sushi, Ichiban is very good. It is housed in an old church just outside of the "main" downtown area. It is the one place I head to every time in SLC.

If you want typical chain stuff, plenty of restaurants over in the Gateway Plaza area..
