So I in a week there will be somewhere around 20-30 of the hornface extended family in austin for a graduation, and mom told me to find a place to eat that will take us in. So I'm asking for suggestions. It needs to be family friendly, because there will be people from 2 years old to 40+, and all in between. And the price needs to be on the low-end side, <10 a plate.

peace

I assueme you're looking for something different than the standard chain crap? Try Central Market Cafe. Not too pricey, really big, decent food (turkey and havarti sandwhich is awesome). Also, everyone oders at the counter, so there's none of that splitting the bill crap after everything is done.

Matt's El Ranch may be able to handle it; very kid-friendly, etc., but you'd better call and see. It will be busy on graduation weekend.

If you bumped it to $15, County Line can do it .... I've done a lot of 20-30 person dinners there for that price ..... good deal, too

EZ's: you can order adn pay individually so thre are no fights over everyone paying thei fair share. Good atmosphere for kids. Lots of variety on the menu, some really good food rom burgers to pasta

Some of the Tex-Mex restaurants around town have dining rooms available for large groups and are family-friendly and cheap. Try calling Jalisco's, Tres Amigos, Guero's, Matt's El Rancho or Iron Cactus.

It's a drive, but Salt Lick accepts reservations for large groups too.

I'd definitely say Salt Lick if you're up for the drive and a fairly long wait. But it's a nice place to wait.

Buca di Beppo. it's the best italian restaurant in austin, and is designed to handle such large groups

seriously, i'm joking. if you go there, some of your family won't make it out alive due to food poisoning.

Head out south on 290W and stop at Nutty Brown Cafe between town and Dripping Springs. Good food, prices and a nice size patio for large groups and kids.

While Hoover's is better, Threadgills could probably accomodate your crowd. There is generally plenty of room and they can set you up. Not too pricey either.
