March Madness will always be my favorite sporting event of the year.

nah, no ******* way. Until they seed the WC appropriately, and until the Eastern Conference is annexed to Europe, then NBA has no chance to match the excitement of NCAA tournament. Who needs to see a five game Orlando-Washington series? Who would take off of work 2 days to see the opening round of the NBA playoffs? ****, no one would take a day off to watch game 7 of an LA-Boston final outside of those 2 markets. Gimme a break, NCAA is one and done ... nothing will ever match that.

maybe if the pros didn't walk up and down the court in the first 3 quarters, you might have an argument.

I make sure to get the 4 days of the 1st and 2nd rounds of the tourney off from work.
I could get off late and catch a finals game in the 2nd half and be ok.

Its not that i dont like the NBA playoffs, its just that i LOVE march madness and look forward to the 1st weekend like a kid anticipates christmas.

ehh. Honestly I think that the college basketball regular season is underrated and march madness is overrated. but thats just me.

Aside from not being near as exciting, the fact that the first/second round of the playoffs takes about 5 months to finish makes it hard to get excited about.
