I have lived in Texas my whole life...well, except for the past 15 months. I am moving back to Texas soon and planning on enrolling in school. If I try to take some classes (online probably) will I have to pay out of state tuition?

A friend of mine lived in texas his whole life then went to school in Oklahoma his freshman year while at the same time his family moved to Atlanta. After that year he went to Georgia and stayed there for about a year before moving back to Texas. Things didnt work out for him very well here so a year after that he moved back with his family. However stuff worked out even less out there and last October (13 months later) he again moved back to Texas. He applied to UTA and then went in and talked to the guy who handled in and out of state residency. After telling him the whole story, the guy gave him in-state tuition. So I am not sure if it will work the same for you, but it worked for him...
