Reputable transmission shop in Austin?

I've been recommended one, but it's waaaay down south, and I live central and work up north at 183 an mopac.

It's for a 2001 Dodge, I need to get my transmission governor worked on. Any recommendations?

Eagle Transmission on Burnett, near 183. Seem to do it right. I have a shop, but we don't do automatic transmissions-I took my wife's car there and it still works properly nearly 60,000 miles later.

I took mine to Cottman out on 183 towards Cedar Park, only because I heard their ad on KVET. Great research on my part huh? I have yet to have a problem with my rebuilt tranny.

Just wanted to let anyone who clicked on this thread know, I took my truck in this morning to Eagle over on Burnet. They ran a FREE diagnostic, hooked my truck up to computer and everything, and then gave me a quote for price and time it would be done. Not only did they stick to the price (a very reasonable one, too, less than I'd been quoted elsewhere), they finished it up before 3 in the afternoon, about 2 hours earlier than they said it would be ready. I'd highly recommend them.
