I see a better player in Bradley than I ever saw in Gibson, Ivey, or Mouton, all of whom have spent considerable time in the NBA. He might spend some time in the D-league, but he'll play in the NBA and for more than a just a little while.
Gibson shoots the ball much better than Avery. I think thats the difference in those 2. Bradley doens't have much range on his jumper, which is not good for a smallish 2 guard.
Gibson can shoot 3's, but that's about his only skill. Bradley is better at going to the basket and defending. Bradley will have to improve at the line and get a little more consistent with his outside shooting, but he brings more than Gibson did.
Bradley's overall production his freshman year didn't impress me that much, but I did see a player who has the tools to succeed in the NBA. I think he has the potential for a nice NBA career, but I don't see him making any all-NBA teams in the foreseeable future.
My bad about Mouton. I meant Evans, who is again a player with a better shooting touch, but not as proficient with the ball or on defense. Yes, Evans has three inches on Bradley, but he also isn't really equipped to handle defensive demands on the perimeter.
I would take Evans over Bradley any day. Gibson IMO is a better slasher than Bradley, and less afraid to go inside. He's also a far superior ball handler and passer. And he's a good defender. While Gibson is a combo guard, Bradley is a 2 all the way. Not good...
Nothing against the guy, but sorry, unless he's struck by lightning and grows a few inches, or becomes significantly better in several areas I just don't see it.
I'm with Gohorns..on this one. Bradley has serious serious holes in his game. The potential is there, I suppose, but Gibson is a better shooter, dribbler, and passer. And, I think he's just as good of a defender.
