We can't have teams losing to Arkansas St in this league. Hell, let them switch with Texas St. Put em in DII.

Now if only we could beat them...
 
it was very embarrassing as a big 12 backer that aggies lost to ark st. that can not happen. hopefully aggies can redeem themselves in non-conf play.
 
If they put forth that kind of effort at Might Kyle Field, I can't wait to see what is in store for them when they go on the road this week to New Mexico.
 
I can't wait until T-Day so we can get scoreboard back on those clowns...

Exactly. And speaking of TCU, they dismantled UNM this weekend (and the last 4 times they played for that matter).
 
this thread is embarassing....we barely recovered an onsides kick last year at home to squeak by this same ark st. team and haven't beaten a&m in 2 years. get off your high horse
 
The situation's serious tonight at the shithouse on the prairie, also known as Aggieland. The only thing heard above the gusts of Gustav is the collective gnashing of aggie teeth. Imagine the 78,000 Aggie buttholes puckering when the clock struck zero Saturday. It nearly caused an atmospheric reversal that could've blown back a hurricane. Couple that with the aggie corps members who were stifled in their gusto when they volunteered the services of their septic tanks for Hurricane Gustav, but just couldn't quite figure out how to drive them to Louisiana. So you know things are going to be tense in Malfunction Junction.

I ventured over to the trainwreck a few minutes ago on texags. What I'm seeing is the current generation of aggie finding out the hard truth: that they've never been a national power, their Yankee fatass coach has them on the hook for a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract, that their fanbase is going to bail and stop buying season tickets, and that their athletic department is about to run up huge debt as a result. The hole they are digging will only get larger.

What's more, the aggie kiddie corps band also is being exposed: the military ranks of their directors are often nothing but figments of the aggie imagination. Just like most of the kiddie corps.

All little aggies ages two to four.
We play the soldier boy from, morn to night..."

Must have been tough on the aggie fanbase to have all that fishcamp brainwashing contradicted in such a short span of time.

Aggies are like cockroaches. It's not what they carry off and eat that's the problem, it's what they fall in to and mess up.
 
If I remember correctly, Arkie State gave us a run for our $ last year. They aren't as soft a team as you might want to think. I still think it is funny they lost, but it isn't as bad as losing to ECU or App State. Arkie State brings it hard to their opponents. Sucks to be aggy, but I wouldn't make it out to be that they got b eat by a creampuff team that can't compete...Arkie State can clearly bring some pressure to a team that overlooks them slightly. I was not a happy camper with our team after last years opener.

Aggy lost that game on their own, however. They should have beat them by a score at least. Bad play calling and missed opportunities will do that to you.
 
My personal opinions:


I won't bet the farm that we wont go 0-12 this year.

Every successful coach I know recruited well his first year while playing out the schedule.

I will bet the farm that we go closer to 0-12 when our current recruiting class of O five star and only 3 four star players are red shirt seniors in 2013, if we don't replace our AD and Coach this year!
