Rep. Clay Higgins leveraged Auschwitz as a prop

to scare everyone into being fearful of the rest of the world and "man's inhumanity". I'm trying to grasp what he was going for...Muslim extremists are the new Nazi's? If so, he gives too much credit to ISIS and their cadre of suicide attackers.

“I filmed the Auschwitz message with great humility. My intent was to offer a reverent homage to those who were murdered in Auschwitz and to remind the world that evil exists, that free nations must remember, and stand strong," Higgins said in part

I believe him. It's the latter part of that statement and the method he used to convey the message that turned people sideways. Evil acts do occur in this world. I'm not sure why we need to leverage the suffering of both the deceased and survivors of Auschwitz to convey that message. Somethings are sacrosanct like the victims' pain and suffering.
