Odds are slim to none, but it's possible Edgar Renteria could end 2 World Series walk off style. That has to be a short list. Ok, go on with your day.

Since this sparked so much interest, I thought I'd go ahead and fill you people in. Turns out Renteria did hit the game winning RBI to win this World Series. He became the 4th player to do this, joining slacks such as Gehrig, Dimaggio and Berra.

Yes, and he hit the game winning blast two seconds after the tv announcer said the Rangers would have to consider walking him since first base was open and the first two pitches were out of the strike zone-KABOOM. Game over, series over. No it wasn't a walk-off, but it might as well have been.

Good call by you, bad pitch by Lee. Molina had it set up on the outside corner, Lee went up and in.

Rangers could have won if they just walked him, but this is why we play the game.

... and he's out of a job. heard on the radio yesterday, Giants declined his option, he didn't do anything worthy in the regular season, Bochy put him in the lineup on a hunch for the WS.
