Removing stains from walls

Walls have flat latex paint. Boys have applied stains. Any chances of removing said stains without removing underlying paint, necessitating paint reapplication?

We're looking at small typical mud stains, plus one bathroom accident where toilet paper did not appear to protect the hand from getting... soiled.

My wife bought these little sponges that had this white coating (sorry, I can't remember the name/brand) and you just lightly rubbed on the offending stain and it erased it. The name might have had 'Eraser' in it, but I can't remember.

Worked really well on our painted drywall walls without removing the paint.

Check your grocery store, I'm sure you'll find it without to much looking.

I would leave them there, that way when they are older, you can make fun of them for rubbing their **** on the wall.

Well played Hornface. Right now, I would trade **** on the walls for the crisis-filled life brought on by having a 16 yr old daughter in the house.

If it is good quality paint, it is fairly washable. You can scrub stuff off, and the paint will still look good. Cheaper paint may come off and look pale, or show the undercoat.
In that case you use Kilz on the stain, and repaint over it.
