Jaime Tames, long-time owner of Jaime’s Spanish Village on 8th and Red River (across from Stubbs) in Austin, passed away very suddenly about a month ago. There was no formal announcement made, as this is how Jaime would have wanted it, but Sra. Teresa and the family now want to open the doors and thank the people of Austin for keeping them in business, as well as allow friends and customers to pay their respects. If you can make it, please come by and have a margarita or grab a bite, I know it would truly mean a lot to the family.
