That could not happen to a more deserving person. He is directly responsible for many deaths by turning away evacuation buses. He should rot in hell, but Federal prison works, too.

Cellular phone service? Now that really burns me up. I bet he got unlimited texting too.

Sad thing is, those fools would re-elect him if he ran again even if he was convicted of this and worse. Got to love the lazy democrat base.

Nagin was not just a lib dem product. He received a lot of support from all stripes of the NO political spectrum. He was more a corrupt used car salesman than a hard core pol. He had not really done anything politically before getting the mayoral post and looking a fool from then on.

That being said, I don't doubt that he could be re-elected. Corruption has never been a disqualifying resume item in politics.
