Remember the brothers who got mauled at the zoo?

who were the posters supporting these assclowns?

The items were placed too low on the shelf. The boys would still be free men today if the game equipment was only higher and out of reach.

I defended them. I do not think anyone deserves to die from being stupid, using Karma as a reason is ridiculous.

Sure, the death penalty for a murder, I get it, but cheering the death because they taunted an animal, I do not get it.

Get back to your Grand Theft Auto IV.

Prayers to the families of the dead kid, they are still feeling it.

The lawsuit is justified btw:

The wall of a moat that surrounds the San Francisco Zoo's tiger enclosure is far shorter than officials thought and also below national standards, authorities said today.

Zoo officials have gone back and forth on the grotto's measurements since a 350-pound tiger escaped on Christmas Day, killing 17-year-old Carlos Sousa Jr. and seriously injuring two of his friends. The survivors were identified by relatives and public records as brothers Paul Dhaliwal, 19, and Kulbir Dhaliwal, 23. The three young men were from San Jose.

Earlier this week, zoo officials said the moat's wall was at least 20 feet tall. Today, they said it was little over 12 feet. Since the investigation began Tuesday, officials have given at least five different measurements for the enclosure, which is surrounded by a moat, two walls on either side of the moat, a small patch of grass and then another waist-high fence. Experts say that the depth of the moat and height of the walls could have a large impact on the animal's ability to escape the enclosure.

Even if SF's wall is too law and should be brought up to standard, that doesn't mean those two ******* morons should benefit one penny from a lawsuit against the city.

WTF did they think they were ******* with? Their little pet kitty?

In reply to:

didn't they find an empty bottle of vodka in the car and also didn't they have a sling shot with them? what kind of losers go on christmas day to taunt a tiger at the zoo?!

These kids were acting like jerkoffs. Now, they certainly did not deserve to be attacked by a tiger - but they were. **** happens. The attack was a direct result of their conduct that day. Terrible consequences for dumbassery, but they are not entitled to jack-diddly-squat, in my opinion. The greatest shame in all this is that the tiger was put down as a result.

the zoo is at fault for the wall being too short, but that's never been an issue before. i don't know how long that tiger had been in that exhibit area, but it's safe to say years. and that zoo is open prob most every day. 10am - 6pm, everyday. that's a lot of ******* hours where nothing happened.

so now because these fuckwads decide to get drunk and taught a tiger on xmas day, the tiger is dead. **** them. they don't deserve jack from the zoo. they got exactly what they deserved. actually, they didn't. they should've been mauled too.

and as the latest news indicates, these guys are leeches on society. i bet their parents are proud. shitheads.

"I didn't want to turn this into a West Mall thread but the Zoo has a obligation to protect it's patrons. It was only a matter of time before this happened. It sucks that the guys taunted the animal, but in their dumb-assery, there is a good chance that they saved somebody else's life.

The Zoo was negligent and they will, and should be found so."

I am sorry someone died and certainly nobody deserved to, but your comment that "It was only a matter of time before this happened... there is a good chance that they saved somebody else's life." is ridiculous. It wasn't a coincidence that the tiger only decided to make the leap and attack the idiots that were taunting him. Hell, there is a better chance that the tiger saved somebody else’s life. Does Target have a responsibility to its patrons to not make its products so easy to steal?

anyone else remember the local news stations pathetic attempts to get the parents of the boys on the TV swearing that their angels would never have been mean to a tiger, nor taunted it and it was such a trajedy that their poor innocent child ran around the zoo at full speed and was HUNTED DOWN AND KILLED by a tiger!

Someone needs to find that news story again and post it here in light of recent events.

If I am on the jury I rule the Zoo to be 1% neligent, as evidenced by the fact that this enclosure had been around for "x" years with no incidents, and although shorter than it was supposed to be, in those many years no animal has so much as though about launching itself 20 feet across the moat until these 3 idiots taunted it.
99% of the blame falls on the injured.

Thus a 1 Million dollar verdict pays $10,000 to the family of the deceased, probably just enough to pay for his funeral, and good riddance to a blight on society.

Those three douchebags did not get attacked because the wall was a foot or two shorter than required. They got attacked because they taunted and maybe even abused the tiger. They created their own outcome. That's one jury I would love to sit on.
