Reid Says Private Sector Jobs are Doing Fine

As for the jobs, I've heard they are even importing teachers. But, don't tell the protestors that. They may actually have to do something besides hangout.
 
It is very likely that your isd is operating with fewer people than it did last year. The only reason that an isd would be hiring any teachers now is because of attrition during the current school year. Hiring now does not have any correlation to layoffs or hiring freezes from last year.

With that being said, there is no need for the federal government that is broke as **** to be spending money on something that is up to the states to provide. Federal money always comes with strings attached and often requires promises to continue the spending even after the feds stop paying.
 
The private sector is still 6.2 million jobs down from 2008, while the federal government is up 238,000 jobs. Like many people who try to claim that the public sector is being devastated, they usually try to blur the lines by talking about state and local jobs so that they can hide all the money they're throwing away with 6-figure incomes added to the payroll.

I may have been off by 3 months (Rumsfeld quote) but even so, the war took longer (or "use of force") took longer than even 6 months.

I honestly hope those are just pro forma attacks and the
