7 SEC & 6 ACC teams...13 of 16 from those 2 conferences! TT & TCU host...I'm guessing Okie lite & WVU will be at-large. Also guessing aggy will get #1 seed. Amazing that we have become so irrelevant...don't recall how many summers now we've had to endure without the usual hope & excitement. Seems to be a pretty high pain threshold over at Belmont....baseball has become the step-child!!

All Belmont cares about is selling tickets; and people keep buying them, so they are happy. LHN makes up for the slight drop in ticket sales so all is well at Belmont as we become irrelevant in baseball.

We had a respectable run in Omaha just two years ago, eliminated by the eventual champion (Vandy) in a heart-breaking, 10-inning game.
 
ACC has four teams with losing records i the regionals ?????WTH ????? and WVU doesn't get in ??????
Aggy is a #4 national seed ??????? They should have been a #2 seed at least.
Paired with TCU........Ok Baker, go take them out !!!!!!!!!!! LOL
 
Cheating for the $EC :
LSU regional....controversial play in first game Rice vs LSU
This it total horse crap. When the Rice RF threw his hands up the ump should have killed the play. This is a bunch of $EC cheating, plain and simple...The fielder did what he was supposed to do...How can the NCAA and ESPN do this to players ?????? Its more $EC crap......Also.....In the Miss State game they cheated for them as well. Batter runner runs inside the foul line and gets hit with the throw from the catcher...Its in the rule book !!!!! He is OUT and runners must return to their bases !!!!! But NOOOOOO...they let runs score and he ends up at like third after the ball bounces off him into right field .......Total horse **** !!!! These umps are being paid to cheat for $EC teams, and sports enthusiasts should be outraged that these people are ruining the sport of baseball. Its also a travesty that ESPN isn't calling them out for it, but they love $EC $$$$$$$ and love controversy so they blow it off. If they aren't being paid to cheat, then they are incompetent, and should not be calling at this level.....But hide and watch...they will be calling in the super regionals and or Omaha. if Either Miss State or LSU make the supers or Omaha I'm not watching it and you shouldn't either. I want SPORTS back, not this bullcrap.
 
UCSB just punched their ticket to Omaha with a walk off grand slam. Was down 3-0 in 9th inning.

How do the aggy know enough about the sec to defend it?
How are the aggy defending choaking away a trip to Omaha?

Poor Aggies: poor defense in general , key error, poor pitching in the clutch, only two hits.

SEC close to being shut out in CWS: Florida is the last chance!
 
SEC getting 7 regionals and 5 supers was a joke, the committee should be ashamed of themselves. This was best aggy team since 1989 and just like 1989 they lose before Omaha. I almost feel sorry for them.......almost.

aggy baseball team needs a "10th Man"......
 
This almost never happens, but the Supers pretty much went my way yesterday, with the exception of Boston College-Miami. I would love to have seen BC advance--especially since they were playing Miami. I was impressed with BC's sportsmanship in the 25-inning game in 2009. Their dugout joined in the ovation for Austin Wood when he left that game, and they were gracious in post-game interviews as well.
 
That was one great weekend of baseball watching SUC team after SUC team bite the dust and aggy and LSU going down within minutes of each other last night was just special. Hoping FSU terminates FL this evening. Omaha will be nice without the SUC cancer there.
