Regional Projections

Holy ****, if ESPN is even reasonably close, that would HAVE to be the most ****** up set of pairings for a #1 ever!

TCU, Rice, Tx State, LSU, all as potential competitors? I know Rice and LSU are "down" this year, but holy crap, they're still Rice and LSU. TCU is always tough and you know Ty always gets his guys up to play is. Not to mention the Ags have been playing much better of late.

This is why I have the sick twisty feeling in my gut. They are going to screw us. And I don't want to hear about how you have to beat blah blah blah to get to Omaha. If you EARN the #1 Seed, you need to get one of the easiest damned Regionals. Tigger & the inverted-hook-em hoot owls ain't welcome -- don't care how "down" they are.

The season began in mid-February, not April 1.

ASU has a better RPI, a much tougher schedule, and a better winning pct. There should be no question.

I hope Fork 'em does get the #1. Let's take the #2 and meet them in the Championship Series. I watched them play a Tuesday night game against BYU with my own two eyes and we will maul them.

Thanks much for posting those projection links.

Per the SEC projection, I'd like to see Arizona come into Disch-Falk.

For no other reason than to beat the crap out of them for how their "fans" treated the Texas players' parents and other Texas fans when we were in Tucson in 2005.

I've never seen such boorish behavior at a college baseball series. It took the local police showing up at the stadium on Sunday to quell the Friday and Saturday idiocy of the spoiled brat students. Reason: the local cops had arrest authority; the security personnel on Friday and Saturday could only eject the morons.

Bring'em to Austin; beat them badly and send them home.

Kendall is an Aggie who would like the TCU regional to be between Ags/TCU without another strong team.

Aside, does anyone have a "read" on which projection has been the most accurate in years past?

Pericles,

I agree 100 percent, although in fairness to the Wildcats, the adults were fine. It was the students who were such pieces of ****.

My husband said there were so many empty booze bottles in the men's room during that Friday night game that you could have built a glass castle, no problem. Those kids were almost the baseball equivalent of the Ohio State football fans!

SEC Baseball projections are usually the closest ones to being right throughtout the years.

LSU would be a ***** to play in the Supers as they have the requisite talented left-handed hitters to beat our right-handed laden starting pitching. We will struggle against left-handed heavy lineups, which were non-existent in the Big 12 this year. Our pitchers are super tough on righty hitters.

SEC Baseball -- if I'm reading it correctly, we'd get hog if we were able to sneak by 'Zona. We've had roasted pig in here before a couple times (especially that Super [I think] where they beat us first game and we had to spank them on the weekend to send them home to mommy) and both turned out well so I'm OK with that projection.
