Red light camera violation

So my wife just got one in the mail. What's the best course of action to take on these things...? Pay it? Contest it/plea it? Do they affect insurance?

it does not go on your insurance or driving record since it was not issued by a police officer. It is basically a parking ticket. Best practice, pay it and get it over.

Like stated above its just a civil fine, and usually less work and trouble to just pay it

I just got one too. The ticket was made out to my dad - the car is still in his name though he's deceased. Am I in the clear?

I believe cell phone development was funded by auto body shops because women had become better drivers. They identified women's weakness (******* like to talk) and incerted it into their driving. This was the second such addition with the first being vanity mirrors on the driver's side.

You can pay it on line. I think the ticket price goes up to $100 after 15 days. They suck but it is cheaper than being pulled over by a police officer and having it go on your record or trying to keep it off.
