Recruits at Tennessee Game?

seemed to me that there were more than that there... lots of young faces in the crowd. I think UT is on the up and up, just because of the known recruiting talents of Aston.

I heard that the following future Longhorns were at the game. Well, hopefully they are future Longhorns. We've got great coaches, a great program and great fans, so why wouldn't they come to Texas.

Kelsey Lang, 2013
Brianna Taylor, 2013
Brooke McCarty, 2014
Ariel Atkins, 2014
Kiara Perry, 2014
Brianna Turner, 2014
Lashann Higgs, 2015
Jordan Hosey, 2015
Natalie Chou, 2016
Natasha Mack, 2016
Jessica Munoz, 2016
Nyah Green, 2019

Why wouldn't they come to Texas? Quite simple... recruits want to play to win. Texas has been irrelevant now for the past 7 years (ahem PDX) and until the ship is righted to show that the Texas program can indeed compete, Texas can't cherry pick, plain and simple. The 5 year "experiment" was an expensive dud and I am sure you don't need me to remind you of the facts.

They want to come because we're all moving forward and there is a role for each of them to help. We have great coaches, great facilities, great fans. Austin is a great city and Texas is a great university. And yes, I do truly mean to use all those 'greats.' Do you think today's 15 year old is focused on the past 5 years. Move on with the rest of us.

knew that there were quite a bit of recruits at the game. Don't recognize some of the 2016 names and a couple of the 2014s.

Nice job, hornsgeek & wwbinsider.

Sure hope the coaches are looking at Lauren Cox 6-4, NT United 2016. Sounds like a great combo F.

training video of Moriah Jefferson (white shirt) and Nyah Green (red shirt) when Nyah was a 5th grader (Jan. 2012). I was thinking that the player in white was pretty good til the credits said she was Jefferson. She is pretty good.

Ahem Seattle. I guess you think I totally supported Coach G wholeheartedly. And by the way, I don't think that I was the only person willing to give her a chance so I'm not sure why you single me out unless it's some sort of Seattle complex with Portland. I wasn't thrilled about her hire but thought she should be given a chance to see if she could produce with her own recruits. Texas really hasn't been relevant since joining the Big XII (except the years that Jamie Carey fell into our laps). So you can add many more years to the 7 you mention. Hopefully Texas is on the way back up but I still think its going to take some time to catch Baylor.
