Saw this on the orangebloods message board:

1. matt hegarty is a pretty heavey ut lean and will decide in april after visiting notre dame, and cal.
2. no db's were offered cause the staff is waiting on josh turner to visit.
3.q.diggs not offered cause schollies are tight and he doesnt have the size for db.
4. texas will take 7 lineman if they get hegarty and westerman, probably grayshirt doyle.
5. other texas leans include cedric reed, rasco, malcolm brown, westerman, and marquise anderson. were probably tied with neb for a.green.

also.... malcolm brown might come in for a spring practice for a look at the new i-form offense. rumors have it that is he's impressed he might commit in spring

thanks for the summary. that's pretty much the info i have gathered as well, with the exception of a rasco "lean". though he may like ut a lot, i would take it that he is far from a lock at this point.

the doyle greyshirt has been talked about quite a bit. it really makes me think about the gooch situation a few years ago, where he eventually decommitted. we'll see i suppose. if there's a chance that we can get hegarty and westerman, we need to pull out all the stops.

I probably have less inside knowledge than anyone here, since I'm too cheap to pay for a subscription to any of the services. However, concerning Brown, and based on several things I've read on several sites, he apparently had less than a ball at zero-u's junior day, and is liking the full court press he's getting from UT. A "lean"?...who knows?...but he's apparently feeling the love from us a lot more than he was last year. I don't like putting all of our eggs in one basket, especially with Sims loving the dirt burglars and Green still heavy on Nebraska, but it appears that's the case this year. Hope Brown's paying attention to us now having a legitimate big time fullback coming in, along with a load of stud linemen. Here's hoping he does decide to visit spring drills...on the day when we're practicing nothing but downhill running.

"I'm skeptical that M. Brown & Westerman can be called "Texas leans" at this stage."

If you are just a skeptical person I probably cannot change your mind. I am unsure of Westerman, but I know we are in good shape with Brown and his folks!

Thanks for the infomation satam and Colt.

I'd love to see us get more interest from Green, but with his brother at Nebraska, he's seemed for a while to have his sights set on playing out of state. I think it's an uphill climb for us right now with Green.

We've got ten offers outstanding. What would be great is if they could all verbal by March 15. We might have to greyshirt a few but we would be basically through with our recruiting for the year.
