Recruiting Site

Prospects Nation looks to be a new website for HS girls basketball recruiting, combining Hoopgurlz and PeachStateBasketball staff. Looks pretty interesting, but most of the information that was free on both sites now costs $100/year to access.

Rankings are still free. Evaluations and interesting stories are not. In the rankings, they have for 2014:

Brooke McCarty at #11, Ariel Atkins at #36,and JaLea Bennett at #51.

For 2015:

Lashann Higgs at #4, Jordan Hosey at #8, Justis Szczepanski-Beavers listed as a 4 star, and Alyssa Dry as a 3 star. (They only rank prospects for 2015 through #25 for now).

Anyway, just wanted to share. I wish they would have more free information. Guess it will depend on how much money they rake in.

Weird. Their ratings match Hoopgurlz pretty closely on Higgs and Posey in 2015. Hoopgurlz also has them in the top 10. But if this new site has Atkins and JaLea Bennett as the 36th and 51st best prospects for 2014,that's way off from Hoopgurlz, which doesn't have either girl in the top 100. Hoopgurlz gives Atkins a score of 91 out of a hundred, and Bennett only an 88. Also Hoopgurlz rates McCarty as 32nd best prospect with score of 94, not 11th best prospect in country. Ratings are subjective, of course, but I tend to trust Hoopgurlz. They're usually in the ballpark about the very top rated prospects.

thanks, jusme. I really miss hoopgurlz as that was the best at providing recruiting info and evals on players before they partnered with ESPN. Now, can't find much on ESPN.

This might be worth the $100 which is pretty cheap compared to what some others are asking.
