recruiting rules question

So Mack is prohibited from discussing recruits prior to signing day.

What are the rules about discussing recruits among other recruits.

For example, can Mack tell a badass WR recruit that Gilbert is committed?

I don't know the answer to your original question, but I can't imagine any recruit doesn't know about GG by now - every time his name is mentioned in the sports pages, it says he will play for Texas.

I'm not sure if they can by name but every year someone says they will only recruit 1 QB or 1 RB. So, the second guy must be told we are only recruiting 1 QB/RB (like with Russell Shepherd this year). It is obviously implied that there is already a guy at that position on board.
