Record in last 12 games

I read somewhere this is important. Our record is 11-1, correct?

So that means we are tied with Memphis for the best record in the country over the last 12? Unless UCLA is 12-0.

Duke, as I posted earlier, is either 8-4, or 9-3, not very impressive for a top ten team. What are other top 2 seeds records?

I know Kansas and Tennesse have lost at least one. UNC? Maybe they're 12-0.

UNC is 11-1, lost to Duke on Feb 6 (11 games ago)

UCLA is 11-1, lost to Washington on Feb 10 (10 games ago)

Memphis is also 11-1, lost to Tennessee on Feb 23 (8 games ago)

Duke is 9-4

Texas is 11-1

so yeah, we are tied for 1st in this category, I think...

I've always thought this was a reason to leave people out, not a criterion used to move a team in, or up.

"Well, you had a good record, but your record in the last 12 games was only..."

Thanks, fish, boy if this isn't a reason to leave Duke as the last #2 seed I don't know what is. With this record, compared to the other top 2 seeds, Duke should have to go to the West as a #2, or maybe even drop to a #3. Wouldn't that be something!

Maybe the committee will give Duke a #3 in their own backyard
