Reccomendations for Transmission work?

Tranmission in my Tahoe has started to slip, normally when these things happen, I just get rid of the vehicle and buy a new car, but I'm particularly partial to this car. Anyone know someone that you could reccommend around austin for reliable transmission work (and I'd prefer to not be taken behind the woodshed if possible).
