I need some help understanding two little letters found on ESPN.com's boxscore for last night's All-Star game..

So why not come to the place where the smartest fans are?

AllStar Game Boxscore ESPN

If you notice at the bottom where the NL pitchers' stats are.. beside a couple of players there are an (H) and (B)

For example:
D Haren (H) 2.0 2 0 0 1 2 0 36-22 0.00
E Volquez (B) 1.0 2 2 2 0 2 1 18-11 18.00
B Wilson (H) 0.2 0 0 0 0 1 0 12-7 0.00
B Wagner (B) 0.1 2 1 1 0 0 0 9-6 27.00

I have never seen this before. What do they mean?

Thanks a lot.

An "H" is a "hold," the most useless statistic in a sport filled with useless statistics. A hold is basically a save where the pitcher doesn't finish the game. A "B" is a blown save.
