RB Recruiting

Should we be going after any of the top 3 RB's in the country knowing our situation. Chris Whaley might be our answer but then again he might not be a RB when he sets foot on campus. Your thoughts.

Christiane Michael has UT low but man he would have been a good get. Not sure why UT seems to lose so many of the top RB's in state year in and year out.

Purely a guess on my part but Mack may have told Whaley that if he committed we wouldn't take another RB. If so, Mack will stick by that promise.

I would love to have Michael though.

My 2 cents on the "commit & we won't recruit anyone else at your position" method. I think it is crap. Imagine if Pete Carroll used that at USC? I say you go after as many blue chippers as you can & if there are some guys who feel uncomfortable competing with the best, then let them play elsewhere.

I think UT was recruiting Richardson, RB from Florida, after Whaley committed so I think if there is a chance for a real good one, you go after him.
