I understand. Point taken but can she not start at the next game?!?!? LOL!!! We're playing CONN.

Wasn't that a foul on Moore against AT? Did you see the replay she grabbed her hand.

Can somebody anybody make a shot!!?!?!?

Well we finally got off 9. WE NEED SOME SHOOTERS!!! Kristen is in and she's going to the basket and getting fouled. So that's a good thing. We still need some shooters. Where's our offense?

You see my girl, RAVEN just block Moore's shot.

Get that out of here!! Let's go Longhorns!!! Let's get it back one stop at a time!!

We need some offense. We need to work on offensive schemes as much as we work on defense and rebounding. Our offense is just not there.

We don't have players who can create their own plays and score. We need to work on offensive sets so we can score. We need points not this one on one and miss the shot.

For instance the slip play with Gayle and Nash. We need more offensive schemes.

And what's up w/ Erica?

Kat wants to play. This is very frustrating!!!! I wonder if my neighbors can hear me screamig. lol

Well my afer game analysis

1. Kat and Kris came to play and were competitive tonight.
2. Where's our post play? Kat had more rebounds than our post players.
3. Guards STOP jacking up shots! Run the offense.
4. Is there any offensive sets? We need to practice them over and over and over again.
5. Raven stop running into the trees and creating TO. Geez

6. I'm going to bed. I've talked, fussed, screamed and yelled at myself for 2 1/2 hours and I'm tired. good night

I enjoyed the game. I expected this score, so it didn't bother me. We tried hard. I love Kat and Kristin in the game together. Kristin certainly get her due this year. She's so much quicker down low. Cokie - can't tell yet. Seems a little slow, her shot looks a little flat. But you can't tell how she will develop. I hope Ashley G. is learning to shoot. Shooters are the problem. We don't have them. Kat and Brittainy are shooters. The rest are athletes. Earnie is as hard a worker as I've seen on a court, yet she can't buy a bucket. I feel puzzled and bad about Erica's slump. What happened between high school and college? Shooting slumps are a psychological mystery. Heather's in her senior year was a hard thing to deal with. Erica's seems to be lasting 4 years. Maybe she'll come roaring out of it about mid-season. We had some scrappy defense at times. We will hang tough with many people.

I too, saw some positives to take away frm the game. I am encouraged by the high intensity and the decent number (15) of turnovers. I liked that we had more steals than they did. I liked 12 assists. I sure wish more of our shots had fallen. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of negatives to work on and even if more shots had fallen we would not have won but we would have pushed them a little more. Despite the score there is a lot to like in this team. Now, let's go whup some a$$.

To me, punishment should have been in the one game and then be done with it. Sit her out an entire game if you want and then move on, but to carry that over to a nationally televised game seems to be in poor taste to me. But then again, I've never coached a team to the Final Four.

It just sucks that UConn had to be the second game of the season, with regard to Brittainey. My guess is she isn't doing well academically anyway (if she were making As, missing one class wouldn't have been that big of a deal). For her to oversleep and not get to class suggests a lack of focus. When a senior leader does something like that, you have to send a message. If the message includes not starting against UConn, so be it.
