Rasheed to Celtics

Looks like Rasheed is heading to Boston according to some nba websites.

With Artest to the Lakers I think Rasheed probably made the right move. And as a Spurs fan, I think they may be able to get a pretty solid player who is not the "big name" with the mid level exception. Last year it was all about Corey Maggette and he made a last minute decision to sign elsewhere leaving the Spurs to acquire Roger Mason jr. I would think the Spurs have several plans following Rasheed and I for one hope that Brandon Bass is on their agenda.

I heard the fallout from the Rasheed signing will net the Spurs Glen Davis for the MLE....we shall see.

I think the point of Rasheed is to improve the bench, to allow reduced min for the Big 3. Sheed can play the 4 or the 5, currently they only have Scalabrine that can play both. Also, they have not signed Big Baby, he is a restricted FA.
For the Celtics to really benifit from this move, Sheed will have to play the post more than he did for the Pistons.

Looks like the Spurs have targeted Antonio McDyess instead of Glen Davis. Either way, Spurs need some inside help.
