Just read some rumblings of former UT recruit and Duke Expat Rasheed Sulaimon possibly looking at enrolling. Coach K released him from the team for "undisclosed" reasons. Looks like he has a year of eligibility left...hmmmm.

But there were never any charges filed. And I don't want anyone to get me wrong, if a kid actually does something even remotely close to this, then they should never even be on texas's radar. But perpetuating unsubstantiated allegations and further damaging this kids reputation and denying him opportunities is not right. With the rape history duke has (lacrosse team) I highly doubt the campus police give this kid the benefit of the doubt. If there was not enough to even charge him, then there's a high chance that this was not true. I'd like to at least hear the kid out haha

I totally agree, but we all know universities care about perception. Especially considering the fact that two football players were charged with rape months earlier. And also the stand up against campus rape movement that they are doing.

Allegations, perception, conjecture, assumption. Pretty sure it's innocent until proven guilty, not the other way. Duke should have learned from the 2006 lacrosse case. Heck look at the Virginia Phi Psi's of late. I think it's too easy these days for the court of popular opinion to persecute someone without hard facts.
