Rasco?

Agree, 2pm presser to play the hat game. LSU is the fav but mom LOVES Texas. Hopefully momma has made sure he lives in a burnt orange house. Would be shocked if we land Rasco but it wouldn't be the first time that a recruit shocked the world because of parental preference, ie Andre Gurode to Colorado in 98(?).
 
Its hard for me to follow recruiting because I'm so biased. I just can't fathom why a kid who is offered at Texas wouldn't come here.

Do we know when Mack's "presser" (sorry, I couldn't resist) is this afternoon? If it's before 2pm, I guess we can be pretty certain Rasco isn't coming here.

is that confirmed about whaley? i haven't seen a spring depth chart or anything. it has been suspected that whaley would be good there, and i think it's a great idea. especially since de is a thin position. i hope that's true.
 
FWIW, Whaley has an older, slightly smaller brother (cousin? Alonzo Whaley, also from Mad'ville) at LB for Brasky...
 
"I'm gonna take my talents to [LSU]." Worst kept secret of the day. Can someone come up with another line please, especially if you're going to make a spectacle of the ultimate decision?
 
I guess he really wanted to play for a national championship.

By the way, who was the last team not in the SEC to win a BCS National Championship? It's been soooo long.
