Rankings Question

Curious why the Longhorns trail the Aggies in the National polls. Is this all on the basis of last years finish? Texas beat #10 Tennessee, #25 Georgia Tech, and Old Dominion who received poll votes, A&M beat #16 Pittsburgh.

What am i missing here voters? Seems Texas has played a more difficult schedule and still has the same won lost record as the Aggies. So what's with the voting?

A&M started out higher and has not lost

early rankings can be kind of strange. but i would agree with TXNOS. they started out ranked higher and they haven't lost yet. i'm sure the polls will shake out once conference starts. i haven't been very impressed with their scoring margin...they had some close games. but they play great defense and most of their games have been on the road.

A&M plays TCU this Sunday. possible upset? should be a pretty good game.
