have a wager, does anyone know the last time we were not ranked in either football, basketball, or baseball? Thanks.

I think that we were not ranked at least some of the time last year in basketball. Towards the beginning of the season I think we dropped out of the rankings for a week or two. Football has been a while and so has baseball.
 
Do you mean ranked at the end of the season, or anytime during the year?

If you mean at the end of the year:
Football, I think Mack's first year or Mac's last.
Baseball, been a while, probably in the 90s
Basketball, before Barnes, that is for damn sure.

1993,1987, 1986, 1966


For baseball, at the following NCAA records book site:

starting p. 41, Final Polls, 1959-2005,

Horns finished No. 6 in 1966
16th in 1986
No. 3 in 1987
No. 6 in 1993

So, without even looking at basketball (the weakest program at Texas in the last 40 years or so), Texas has had a ranked program in at least one of the major three every year at least as far back as 1966.
 
The last time the football team wasn't ranked was the week of October 15-21, 2000; however, they've been ranked in every final poll during Coach Brown's tenure.

The last time the basketball team wasn't ranked was last year from February 12-18. I believe that the Horns have been ranked in every final poll during Coach Barnes's tenure (before the season started, 108 weeks ranked in a poll).

I know nothing about college baseball.
