Rank the Texas Teams

This could get dicey, so if the Mods want to delete it now, go ahead.

The obvious rank would be

1) Rockets - they took Lakers to 7 games even though Yao breaks his foot,

2) Mavs - beat the Spurs in 5

3) Spurs - playing old and without Ginobli.

HOWEVER, we may know more about the relative standings of the Rockets and Mavs when we see how the Lakers and Nuggets square off. Obviously, if the Lakers win, then the Rockets were indeed the best Texas team. BUT, if the Nuggets win, then the Mavs may have been better.

Oh ****. This sounds like a loser trying to ***** his way into 2nd place. Can I save this as a "draft" and come back to it later?

Rockets, Mavs and Spurs sounds about right. All 3 need to improve especially the Spurs who must get younger and better depth. With Rockets can Tracy and Yao ever stay healthy??? Mavs have Dirk but need more. Too many old players for the Spurs.

With Manu and Yao healthy, Spurs, then Rockets, the Mavs, unless McGrady is healthy also in which case the Rockets drop behind the Mavs.
