You won't believe which player is on tonight's ticket. The next pitcher to lose his spot in the rotation...Rich Harden.

Even with that bad karma I think the R's are going to respond tonight. Go Rangers!

69, have a terrific time at The Ballpark tonight. I'll be watching on TV - I have Yankee tickets for next month.

Cheer hard and bring us a victory. WorsterMan and I are pretty confident of the last batch of mojo we brewed - but the support and cheers of the zealots are always a welcome extra ingredient!

I'm watching as much as I can, considering I had to cancel my aerobics class tonight because of a certain gastrointestinal malady. I'm watching between trips to the ... well, you get the idea.

We need to make a statement tonight, especially since Teixeira and Cano aren't in their lineup.
 
Passed on free tickets to a suite stocked with food and drink and instead followed updates from time to time on my phone. All for the sake of work.

This win was huge in my book. Huge mainly because they beat Rivera. I don't think they have ever beaten Rivera before. And Rivera didn't inherit any runners, the Rangers hit the ball.

Great job Rangers, tomorrow is Cliff Lee, hold your breath the offense shows up, and if so, it's 2 up and then maybe go for a sweep.

A sweep followed by just winning the Boston series would put the Rangers at the doorstep of being the #2 record, maybe looking only up at the #1 team, whoever that would be. (Yankees I'm guessing)

Just think a month ago, most of us were concerned about how many games we had left with the Angels, now we're concerned about how many games are left with the Yankees.
 
pitching and defense was the name of the game + a liberal sprinkling of Murphy. Twice in one week Cruz has been walked to face him. Hee-Haw! Wonderful!

yes beating mario was huge...w/ nefti pitching 6 outs we hopefully won't see him till friday...crossing fingers cliff gets some support wed nite so we can run in matty for the last 6 outs

Woooohooo - I too am pumped. I figured you'd be at that game H69 - you saw a great one. David Murphy - wow, has he picked a great time to start some clutch hitting. Watched most of this one and I was thrilled with that win!!!

That Eric Gagne trade looks better and better with each passing day. Murphy, thought to be a throw-in by some, has turned into a very capable major leaguer. Add Engel Beltre, not yet 21, hitting .290 at Frisco right now, and that's pretty close to highway robbery.
 
How about that play by C.J. in the top of the third to get the ball and sprint and dive to touch the bag for an out? He could have gotten injured but what hustle!!

I'm not the biggest Frankie Frank fan, but he saved the game IMO when he got out of the jam in the 8th with a runner on 3rd and only 1 out. If they score that run, we never make it to the 10th.
 
I'm not the biggest Frankie fan, either, and it might not have gone to extras had he not given up the gopher to A-Roid.
 
They said on the radio he threw him 2 straight fastballs. Uh, probably not a good idea. BUT, he did do a tremendous job pitching out of trouble.
