Rangers vs Yankees - for ALCS

Excuse me for getting ahead of myself. But, let's get real.

I know this has been discussed and I believe I came down that Rangers would have Home Field b/c NYY are Wild Card.

True or False?

Normally i'd be cautious of looking ahead, but the rays franchise seems to be in freefall...crawford, soriano and longo are gone after this yr. Rangers? Our best days are still ahead of us.

it didnt matter at the end of the season...regardless of whether the Yankees or Rays won the division, Texas was playing the division winner and the other would have been the wildcard. Texas's record was worse than Minn's so Texas was going to play the division winner regardless, so b/c both teams at that time had a better record, Texas would be on the road for either the Yankees or the Rays.

Notice how the Yankees had 95 wins and the Twins had 94 this season...the Twins had home field (even though they didnt do anything with it), which means Texas, if they advance, will have it as well.

this is truly amazing! Now the big question is, will the Rangers and Yanks have the same length of series? I'm guessing right now that both teams will sweep.

I ordered Game 3 of ALCS thinking it would be Game 5. So, it would be G6 now. Hell, I'll need to convert these to World Series Tix by that time. FU HF Jinx!!! (though I did pick up my Sports Illustrated today and there was David Price on cover.)

Good god, the HF jinx got scary close. Been out of internet touch but got to see all the games. Very, very excited about R's chances - and NOBODY gives them a chance. Wait until CJ and Colby do their thing in first two games.
