Blanco's error was bad....it should have been a dbl play that would have ended the inning at a 4-2 deficit. It was not the simplest DP but he should have fielded it and gotten the ball to Elvis. I jinxed him.

Anyone want a $1 hot chocolate? (was $3) New ownership lowered prices on many food items at the ballpark. 22oz beer now $7. Not bad really given what I see at all other stadiums.

Agree with all the hustling comments. I was ready to ordain Josh as MVP tonight. Screw the last 6 weeks - he couldn't possibly lose it now. ESPN surely had to work overtime to edit out all the great plays the Rangers made for Plays of the Day.

Right before the pitch to Cruz, Mrs. 69 goes, "how well do they hit knuckleballers?" And before I go, "they beat the **** out of him in Boston, Mr. Nelson Cruz LAUNCHED it. OMG.

In a a season of 162 games, in a SUCCESSFUL season of 162 games, we are fortunate to see LOTS of great plays. But the Vlady dive and Josh hustle home - I agree with H2R, I may not have let out that much emotion since Lawrence's FG vs Nebraska. Truly spectacular. I realize there are pitching issues, but damn it, this is fun.

Good point OC. Earlier this week after some pitcher gave up 4 consecutive homeruns I thought the bad guy in the deal was the Manager who kept doubling down on a losing hand. After Hunter gave up 2 in row after also giving one up in the 3rd, you want to get the hook ready. Reading about the stomach virus really makes you wonder wtf.

JOSH IS AMAZING. Probably the best all-around game ever played by a Ranger. How can this guy not win MVP this year?

Colby vs. Lester tonight. Colby needs to chew up some innings. Bullpen is going to fall apart at this rate.

WOW!!!

That was one of the best Ranger come backs I have seen... certainly in a long time. They don't win them all, but this team never quits. I too was glad when Wakefield appeared in the game after how the R's hit him in Boston a few weeks ago. And Josh F Hamilton - MVP last night.

I was listening to most the game on radio while watching on ch21, Nadel was saying the sawx had a choice of leaving Papelbon in for another inning, or handing the game to Wakefield...so i guess they were outta options last nite

Listened to Jim Rice and one of the NESN baseball hotttie wimmen pregame girls on the pregame teeveee show...they're saying the sox Pen is in bad shape right now, apparently xtra inning games are the worst thing that can happen to them right now. Hope we get to Lester somehow, someway early
